J-Band is the one-person creative lab of Jan Brusse in Groningen. Software, 3D models, live audio-reactive visuals: most of it began as something a Dungeons & Dragons table, a screen or a stage needed. Built for fun, overbuilt with love.

Why this lab exists.

J-Band is Jan Brusse's one-person lab for small, useful, strange things: web tools, 3D models, visuals that move to sound. Most experiments start as a weekend idea, escape the drawing board, and end up genuinely handy, usually at our own D&D table first.

The name is borrowed from the J-band, a slice of radio spectrum between 10 and 20 GHz: a quiet frequency for the occasional transmission when something is finished and working. There is no roadmap and no grand plan, only curiosity, pointed at whatever needs building next.
